The OM Money Account App offers a comprehensive financial management solution, allowing users to engage in various financial activities, including banking, investing, loans, and funeral cover. Users can conveniently transact on the go, check account balances, submit funeral claims, and apply for loans and additional funeral cover.

HOW IT WORKS

An OM Money Account can be opened at any Old Mutual branch or by reaching out to the Old Mutual Money Account call centre at 0860 445 445 for further assistance.

Additionally, users are encouraged to register for Old Mutual Rewards at www.secure.rewards.oldmutual.co.za. This allows access to both the Money Account and Rewards through the OM Money Account App.

The Money Account provides a range of capabilities:

• Cash deposits can be made at various retailers, including Shoprite, Checkers, Usave, Pick n Pay, and Boxer.
• Airtime, data, and electricity can be purchased.
• Beneficiaries can be managed and payments made effortlessly.
• Quick Pay allows for fee-free payments to other Money Account holders using their mobile numbers.
• Send Money facilitates payments to any mobile number.
• Users can access funds in their SAVE Account at any time without prior notice.
• Funds can be transferred between SWIPE and SAVE accounts.
• Account balances and transaction histories are readily viewable.
• The card can be switched on or off as needed.

Personal loans

• Applications for Old Mutual personal loans are available through the app.
• Users can view their existing loan balance if applicable.

Funeral cover and claims

• Users can apply for Old Mutual Funeral cover via the app.
